About Artist

Sonu Sultania is an award-winning contemporary artist driven by her passion and emotions. Born and raised in Kolkata, India Sonu practiced law until changing her path into Art in 2013. Her art practice revolves around painting and photography.

Sonu specializes in alcohol ink to create contemporary and abstract paintings. She considers the process behind her colorful ink paintings very therapeutic. Through her practice, the artist blends her imagination and feelings to create paintings that explore and express her inner world and surroundings. The paintings become abstracted landscapes that layer shapes, forms, and color. Delving past the visual, these elements become a reflection of her thoughts, feelings, and emotions.

Sonu has recently started exploring the new digital media and has exhibited her NFT in ART Dubai, 2022 with Morrow Collective.

Sonu currently lives and works in Dubai, UAE.
